My e-Start
The digitalisation of civil and commercial services is supposed to simplify tedious processes and make our lives easier. However, not all of us feel the same for such digitalisation.
Disadvantaged and vulnerable groups (the elderly and individuals with low education and training levels), in particular, are suffering under the growing digital gap. They lack the fundamental digital literacy to use online services, leading to problems in social participation and ultimately social exclusion.
My e-Start equips disadvantaged groups with the necessary skills to use e-Government and e-Commerce services. The training course is delivered on a user-friendly online platform, utilizing the ‘easy language’ approach to make it particularly accessible. My e-Start promotes digital inclusion and helps to close the digital gap, enabling learners to be more active in our society and live out their civic responsibilities.”
